Terms & Conditions – Smart Rinse Laundry Service
Welcome to Smart Rinse Laundry Service. By availing our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Service Scope
- We provide laundry, dry-cleaning, ironing, and related services for personal and household garments, linens, and fabrics
- Service timelines may vary depending on load, garment type, and special care instructions.
- We reserve the right to refuse items that are unsuitable for washing/dry-cleaning (e.g., leather, suede, delicate embroidery, damaged clothing) unless explicitly agreed.
2. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must check and remove cash, jewelry, electronics, documents, or other valuables from their garments before handing them over.
- Customers must declare special instructions (e.g., delicate wash, color protection, hand-wash only).
- Smart Rinse is not responsible for color bleeding, shrinkage, or wear and tear caused by manufacturer defects or poor fabric quality.
3. Damage & Loss Policy
- While we take utmost care, Smart Rinse is not responsible for damages or loss caused by: Natural wear & tear of fabric
- In the unlikely event of irreparable damage caused directly by our negligence, compensation will be made strictly in line with the International Fabricare Fair Claims Guide (IFCG), which determines reimbursement based on the age, condition, and depreciated value of the garment, and not the replacement cost.
Color fading, running, or shrinkage inherent to the fabric.
Natural calamities, burglary, theft, or fire accidents.
4. Unclaimed Garments
- Garments not collected within 30 days of delivery date will be considered abandoned.
- Smart Rinse reserves the right to donate or dispose of unclaimed items without further notice
5. Pricing & Payments
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- Service charges must be paid at the time of delivery (cash, UPI, or other approved methods).
- Promotional discounts or offers are applicable only during the validity period and cannot be clubbed with other offers.
6. Delivery & Pickup
- Standard turnaround time will be communicated during booking. Urgent requests may incur express charges.
- We make every effort to deliver on time, but delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. Smart Rinse will not be held liable for such delays.
- Pickup requests are scheduled within a 2-hour time window; exact pickup times cannot be guaranteed.
- Once a pickup is booked, our representative will contact you to confirm your availability.
- If you are not available during the confirmed slot, you will have the option to reschedule the pickup at a mutually convenient time.
7. Liability Limitations
- Smart Rinse is not responsible for: Any personal belongings left in garments.
- Our maximum liability for any dispute will be limited to the actual cleaning cost of the garment, as per IFCG guidelines.
Garments damaged due to weak seams, pre-existing damage, hidden stains, or inferior fabric quality.
Minor variations in starch level, finish, or softness due to fabric condition.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
- Orders once processed cannot be cancelled.
- Refunds will only be considered in cases of garment damage directly attributable to Smart Rinse.
- For other quality-related concerns (e.g., incomplete stain removal, unsatisfactory finish), Smart Rinse will provide a rewash service at no extra cost, subject to mutual agreement with the customer
- No cash refunds or credits will be issued for such quality issues.
9. Privacy Policy
- Customer information (name, phone number, address, order details) will be used only for service delivery purposes.
- We do not share customer data with third parties, except as required by law.
10. Legal Jurisdiction
- All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of local courts where the Smart Rinse branch is located.
- These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically, and the latest version will always apply.
